Delete your account

You can delete your account and all of its journal data at any time from inside the app:

  1. Open Colloquia and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Billing is handled by Apple, so it has to be cancelled separately: on your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Colloquia → Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your journal entries, summaries, metadata, and the memory Colloquia keeps to ask better questions. This can’t be undone — if you’d like to keep a copy, export your journal first from Settings → Export. Your conversation audio is never stored, so there’s no recording to remove.

Deletion from our active systems is prompt. As described in our Privacy Policy, any residual copies in encrypted backups and routine logs age out on their normal cycle, and we keep only a minimal billing record where required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.

Prefer to delete just one entry?

You don’t have to delete everything. In the app, open any entry and delete it on its own.

Need help?

If you can’t access the app, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account and we’ll help you delete your data. For more on how your information is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
